Rudy Giuliani Goes After Joe Biden

(USNewsBreak.com) – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was once on top of the world. He was dubbed “America’s Mayor” following the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center for his dedication and composure in handling the situation. He’s fallen a long way in the last 20-plus years, though, and is now facing legal troubles following the 2020 election. He’s also taking on the president of the United States.

On Wednesday, October 4, Giuliani filed a defamation lawsuit against President Joe Biden, alleging that the POTUS cost him clients as well as podcast listeners when he referred to him as a “Russian pawn.” The former NYC mayor is referring to a comment that Biden made during a debate with former President Donald Trump in October 2020, just weeks ahead of the election, where he stated that Giuliani was “being fed” inaccurate information from the Russians.

Said information reportedly centered on Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was said to contain information that could tie Hunter’s business activities to his dad. The lawsuit also names several fundraising committees and a campaign committee.

In the suit, which was filed in the State of New Hampshire Merrimack Superior Court, Giuliani is requesting a jury trial. He didn’t specify damages in the paperwork itself, but when asked in a press conference about the amount, he said, “It’s in the millions and billions of dollars.”

Giuliani isn’t the only one filing lawsuits these days, either. The younger Biden is suing Trump’s former attorney for what he claims is a “total annihilation” of his digital data and privacy. This suit, which also names multiple defendants, alleges that they “have dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy… into tampering with, manipulating, copying, [and] disseminating” the contents they claim to have gotten off a laptop, which, in fact, came from a hard drive.

Giuliani has recently been found liable in a defamation lawsuit filed against him, as well.
