Prosecutors Reportedly Not Planning To Charge Rudy Giuliani
(USNewsBreak.com) – In April 2021, the FBI executed search warrants on the home of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Prosecutors were trying to find out whether he violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act during his time as an advisor in the Trump administration. But on November 14, the US attorneys sent a letter to the judge in the case saying they would not bring charges in the matter.

Prosecutors had alleged Giuliani broke federal laws by trying to get Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden in an effort to hurt Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign. They stated he should have had a foreign agent registration. However, now it seems no further legal action is coming on the matter.
Giuliani’s attorney, Robert Costello, was reportedly quoted by The Associated Press calling the reveal a “victory,” adding that he appreciates everything the US Attorney’s Office has done and that he wishes it could have happened “sooner.” Giuliani declared “complete & total vindication” in a tweet on November 14.

Still, this was only one legal issue of several. The former mayor faces some trouble with disbarment in New York and Washington DC. He is also part of a case in Georgia and has civil suits pending due to allegations of election fraud.
