Poll Suggests Millions of Dems Want to See a Change in Leadership
(USNewsBreak.com) – President Joe Biden has sent a clear message that he will run again in 2024, but some people have questioned whether he will be up to serve another four years. Objections often center around concerns that the commander in chief is experiencing cognitive decline due to his advanced age. A new poll shows it isn’t just Republicans who think he shouldn’t put his name on the ballot.
To be clear, as the President has said repeatedly, he plans to run in 2024.

The message from Democrats who participated in a USA Today/Ipsos poll is they don’t want Biden on the ticket in 2024. They lack confidence he could win if he ran again, with only 60% seeing victory in the future compared to 82% of Republicans who think former President Donald Trump would win if he were on the ballot.

More than half of the Democrats who responded said they wanted another candidate. Still, the overwhelming majority said they trusted their current leader and felt confident about his abilities. They just couldn’t get behind four more years with him at the helm.
One reason Biden may be losing support is the low approval ratings that have plagued his time in office. In addition, he’s struggled to pass legislation through Congress, and many Democrats may be tired of waiting for the tide to turn.
