(USNewsBreak.com) – After months of denying the Hunter Biden laptop scandal’s validity, corporate media is finally reporting about it. Now that it’s been gaining traction in the mainstream media, Americans are voicing their concerns. A recent poll shows a majority of respondents feel it is a critical story the media needs to cover.

A Rasmussen poll released on March 24 states that 66% of voters believe Joe Biden had involvement in his son’s foreign dealings and find the laptop story imperative to learning the truth. A large number, 48%, see this scandal as very important, and only 31% say they don’t believe it’s true. A small minority of 15% replied they didn’t find the issue holds any importance.
The survey also revealed that 69% of participants said they’d closely followed the laptop story. In comparing the party breakdown, 51% were Republicans, and 26% were Democrats. Those with no party affiliation came in at 34%.
When asked if they felt the president consulted on or profited from Hunter Biden’s business dealings in foreign countries, 73% of voters identifying as Republican said yes. The response from independent voters was at 51%. Democrats only made up 23% of those who felt Joe Biden was involved in the scandalous behavior.
Rasmussen polled 1,000 voters from March 21 to March 22. The level of confidence is 95%, with a margin of error at +/- 3%.
